To promote international cultural exchange, Yuan Ze University organized a visit for international students from nearly 30 countries to experience the 2025 Taiwan Lantern Festival. This year’s festival, themed "Illuminating a Thousand Ponds, Linking Taoyuan," combined Taoyuan’s pond landscape with its youthful city character, creating a grand light and shadow feast. A total of 126 Yuan Ze international students were amazed by the spectacular event.
Before the start of the semester, Yuan Ze University Library officially launched its new AI learning companion, “ZhiZhi AI,” alongside the updated library website.
The 2025 Taiwan Lantern Festival is taking place in Taoyuan from February 7 to 23, featuring the "City Spotlight" exhibition area, which highlights Taoyuan’s unique urban characteristics and diverse cultural heritage, offering a deeply immersive visual and sensory experience.
During the winter break, Professor Yi-Chung Ke, Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Applied, led five undergraduate students and three graduate students to Akita International University in Japan for a ten-day intensive winter program on Japanese language and culture.
The 2025 Taipei International Book Fair will be held grandly at the World Trade Center in Taipei from February 4 to 9. This year’s theme country is Italy.
