The admission results for the 114th academic year of Taiwan’s Star Program were announced on March 18, 2024. According to the selection committee’s data, 17 universities achieved full enrollment across categories 1 to 7. Amidst the declining birth rate impacting higher education, Yuan Ze University stood out by securing full enrollment for the third consecutive year, demonstrating remarkable performance.
Yuan Ze University’s 2025 Spring Career Fair Attracts 4,000 Students as Companies Compete for Talent
Yuan Ze University’s 2025 Spring Campus Recruitment Fair was held on March 27, bringing together renowned companies such as ASE Semiconductor, Zhen Ding Technology, MSI, and Yuanta Securities. The event provided graduating students and job seekers with various employment opportunities.
Yuan Ze University's Center for Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility offered a cross-disciplinary course this semester titled "University Social Responsibility and Community Development." To allow students to experience firsthand the connection between agricultural ecology and sustainable development, the course took students to the Hefeng Good Food Organic Farm in Xinfeng Township, Hsinchu County. There, students participated in rice farming, learning how to protect food security under the principles of coexistence between technology and ecology.
As global climate change became increasingly severe, the creation of "zero-carbon cities" became a shared goal in urban development worldwide. To promote the transformation of cities toward both intelligence and sustainability, Yuan Ze University and the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) co-hosted the SmartZero City 2025 Smart Zero-Carbon City Forum from March 24 to 27 at the Far Eastern Grand Ballroom on the third floor of the Shangri-La Far Eastern Hotel in Taipei.
On March 14, 2024, Prof. Dr. Chawin Chantharasenawong, Vice President for International Affairs at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), and Prof. Dr. Hong-Ming Ku, Assistant to the President for Internationalization, visited Yuan Ze University (YZU) for an academic exchange.
The 2025 World Down Syndrome Day was grandly held at Taipei Main Station from March 15 to 23, organized by the Down Syndrome Foundation. In collaboration with Yuan Ze University and Cooseii Impact Platform, the "Gifts Discovered" exhibition was jointly planned.Yuan Ze University students and children with Down syndrome worked together to create design pieces that serve as a public advocacy for social inclusion.
Faculty and students from Yuan Ze University’s Department of Art and Design participated in the "Taoyuan Youth Design Playground – Multimedia Design Exhibition," organized by the Taoyuan City Government Youth Affairs Bureau.
